  • Sacramento Kings - Realtime data

Project Description

Powering NBA Teams with IoT, Analytics, Real-time dashboards, Mobile SDK and more.

With the inauguration of Golden 1 Center arena nearing, the home for Sacramento Kings, the client approached us to execute a solution on cloud and mobile that would power the app of this NBA favorite. With limited time in hand and with the scope of integrating a lot of systems, our team of experienced engineers planned things out, solved the technical challenges and delivered a product that did it all. This solution comprises Industry-leading design and technology which delivers an innovative combination of information and stadium experience

This app helps in enhancing the state of the art technology features at the Golden Gate-1 Centre by providing on-demand information to the fans and spectators as they enter the stadium. This includes customer service, personalized user experience, transportation and queueing, parking, etc

The solutions backend runs 1,500 automation per game across 10 unique application program interfaces, ranging from the NBA to Urban Airship to PubNub. This synchronizes a real-time experience with up-to-the-moment scores, play-by-play info, shot-chart details, as well as team and player stats and more.

The Kings are the only NBA team to have this technology right now, because Sacramento's Golden 1 Center is the most connected arena in the country, with zero latency, on-site data center, 1,000 Wi-Fi access points, and a distributed antenna system.
