Role Overview:
As an AI/ML Lead, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing AI/ML models, with a focus on Generative AI and LLMs. You will fine-tune open-source models, integrate agentic frameworks, and leverage Azure OpenAI services to deliver scalable, production-grade AI solutions. This role requires both hands-on expertise and technical leadership, with the ability to collaborate across teams and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
Responsbilities:
AI/ML Model Development & Optimization
Develop, deploy, and optimize AI/ML models, particularly in Generative AI and LLMs.
Fine-tune open-source LLMs (Llama, GPT, Falcon) for business-specific applications.
Generative AI & LLM Expertise
Lead initiatives around Generative AI, including prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and agentic frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex).
Provide technical leadership in deploying robust LLMs with high performance standards.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Communication
Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to drive AI initiatives.
Document and communicate AI/ML workflows, model performance, and outcomes for technical and non-technical audiences.
Cloud-Based AI Solutions
Leverage Azure OpenAI and Azure Machine Learning services for scalable AI/ML solutions.
Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of AI systems in production.
Research & Continuous Learning
Stay updated with the latest advancements in Generative AI, LLMs, and ML research.
Continuously enhance model accuracy, efficiency, and applicability to complex problems.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Generative AI & LLMs: Proven experience with fine-tuning Llama, GPT, Falcon and expertise in prompt engineering, RAG, and agentic frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex).
Frameworks: Proficiency in PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face Transformers.
Cloud AI/ML: Strong experience with Azure OpenAI and Azure Machine Learning.
AI/ML Expertise: 5+ years of hands-on model development, optimization, and deployment.
Generative AI focus: 2+ years specifically in LLMs, NLP, and deep learning.
Collaboration & Communication: Strong ability to work with cross-functional teams and explain technical results to non-technical stakeholders.
Mathematical Foundation: Strong understanding of statistical modeling, probability, and optimization techniques.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
